Main Meetings

Our main meetings take place twice on Sundays and once on Tuesdays at 7.30 pm. Sunday services are a time for corporate worship for all ages. While the Bible leaves some freedom to the details of how Sunday services are organised we believe there is a strong emphasis on corporate worship being inter-generational. To that end we seek to make the whole of the morning service accessible to children as well as adults.

There is a crèche available for children up to the age of 5 that runs during the second half of the morning service. Sunday school classes for school-age children are run before the main service from 9.45 am - 10.30 am.

The Tuesday evening meeting is primarily a time of corporate prayer which usually begins with a short Bible study to help focus our minds on the Lord. We also use these meetings to get up to date information from visiting missionaries from time to time.

In the light of our aims as a church, our main meetings are centred on the teaching and application of God's word. We seek to reflect our ethos in our corporate worship by the use of both traditional and contemporary hymns, songs and music. When we meet together we also seek to use these times to cultivate a caring fellowship of mutual encouragement, support and accountability.
