Local Outreach

  • Foodbank

Bridgend Foodbank is part of the Trussell Trust, providing emergency food supplies to families in crisis in the borough of Bridgend. Some people from the church support the work with their time as volunteers and there is a regular collection of food given by the church.

  • Care Homes

Each month, a group from the church visit a Brocastle Manor care home to befriend the residents and conduct services with singing, prayer and a short Bible-based talk.

  • Christians Against Poverty (CAP)

CAP has a national reputation of helping those who have found themselves in challenging financial situations. We support a local branch of CAP.

  • Prison Visiting

Members of the church regularly visit the inmates at HM Prison & Young Offenders’ Institution Parc. The church also holds well-attended services there once a quarter.

  • Cafe Church

There’s a warm invitation to everyone to meet on the last Thursday of each month at the Costa Coffee (Dunelm) at 7.45 pm for coffee, chat, quiz and a short inspirational talk. We hope to restart this before long.
